The List is the literature, fiction, thriller, literature and humour novel which describe the era of the Holocaust and the struggle of Jewish people at that time. Martin Fletcher is the author of this classic novel. This is the time of the Holocaust in 1945. When Nazi’s are all over just to kill the Jewish people. There is no way to hide from them and every day thousands of them are killed in a brutal way. The Jewish are migrating into European countries for their survival and some of them travel to London. In October 1945, there is a Jewish couple Georg and Edith. They are a newly married couple who are waiting for the birth of their first unborn child. It was a good news but yet they can’t celebrate it now. Every day they listen to someone is dying and most of their relatives are been killed by the Nazis. There is no way of hope for them to survive and worried about their child. On the other side, Englishmen are thinking to take back the homes and jobs from the refugees and provide them to servicemen. The father of the girl has believed that everything is going to be well in a few days. George does not believe what he hears, Jewish people want to murder England’s foreign minister and he has to stop them.
