Bono by Helen Brown

Bono Book Summary

“Bono: The Amazing Story of a Rescue Cat Who Inspired a Community” is about loving cats, and looking at life, as it is about Bono. Helen Brown is the author of this book. Helen Brown was born and brought up in New Zealand, where she first worked as a journalist, TV presenter, and scriptwriter. This book is as much about loving cats, and looking at life, as it is about Bono. The Bono doesn’t even show up until page 63. Of course, other cats make appearances beforehand. The story follows an Australian woman to New York, where she is staying to promote her new book. Since this author writes about cats often, it was suggested that she foster a cat while there. She is in for a wild ride, however, since instead of the elderly, docile cat she envisions, she is presented with sick yet extremely spunky Persian. The story follows Helen through her attempts to find a loving home for this wild child. Along the way, she finds Bono has taught her a thing or two about living, about embracing every day.
