SAIL Rourkela Steel Plant Technician Recruitment Post Notification 2023

Educational Qualifications

• Operator-cum-Technician (OCT - Boiler Operator):

(1) Matriculation with 03 years (full-time) Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical / Power Plant / Production / Instrumentation Engineering discipline from Govt. a recognized institute.
(2) First Class Boiler Attendant Certificate of Competency.

• Operator-cum-Technician (OCT - Electrical Supervisor):

(1) Matriculation with 03 years (full-time) Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Govt. a recognized institute.
(2) Having a valid Electrical Supervisory Certificate (Mining) of Competency to work in Mines.
(3) Minimum 01 year post qualification experience.

• Attendant-cum-Technician Trainee (ACTT):

(1) Matriculation with ITI (full time) in the relevant trade of Electrician / Fitter / Electronics / Machinist / Diesel Mechanic / Computer Operator & Programme Assistant (CoPA) / Information Technology (IT) from Govt. a recognized institute.

Age Limit

• Operator-cum-Technician (OCT - Boiler Operator): Minimum 18 years and Maximum 30 years
• Operator-cum-Technician (OCT - Electrical Supervisor): Minimum 18 years and Maximum 28 years
• Attendant-cum-Technician (ACTT) Trainee: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 28 years
• All Indian candidates can apply 
• Gender - Male/Female

• Attendant-cum-Technician (ACT) Trainee: S-1 ₹ 9.9 Lakh (approx) per annum (excluding location-based allowances, category-specific allowances, etc.)

SAIL RSP Recruitment 2023 Physical Standards:

• Male - Height 155cm / Weight 45kg / Chest Measurement 75 cm and 79 cm on expansion 
• Female- Height 143cm / Weight 35 Kg / Chest Measurement 70 cm & 73 cm on expansion
