Harold Robbins is the author of this outstanding book. Jack Lear is the main protagonist of this novel and he is very generous and irresistible person. He belongs to the Jewish family and his parents have a middle class. Jack is a dreamy man who wanted to achieve all of his goals. He has the craze to join the WASP families and very inspire with influence in the society. WASP families are the oldest and rich families in the country who has the hold on the decision making of the country. There is nothing which can’t happen without their influence and Jack also wanted to become that person. He has started the business of broadcasting of television and radio. The things are pretty much clear to him and this was just the beginning of his dreams. Apparently, he thinks this is not enough to achieve what he is thinking of. The money, fame and influence will not come through by doing this. His wife is working with a WASP on the social heiress. He is planning to make a move but there is risk involved.
