Hashish is the nonfiction, adventure, memoir and biography book which shares the suspenseful events from author’s life and how he become the richest person in the twentieth century. Henry de Monfreid is the author of this imposing book. The author has written two other books which are equally famous among the readers. He was born in 1879, at the place of Leucate. His father was the artist and he has grown in a middle-class family. Henry becomes famous in the world while travelling in the Red Sea. His childhood was spent in Paris and at the age of thirteen in got separated from his family. The reason is that his parents want him to study in the boarding school but he was not happy about changing his school. He has old friends in the previous school. His parents wanted him to become an engineer but he has decided something else for him already. He is not more in control of his parents and makes decisions on his own. Henry becomes tired of living an ordinary life like his parents and then he travels for the first time in the Red Sea. There are a number of opportunities which are available and he just has to pursue to fallow him. What did he do which makes him a rich person in the world just in a few years? How he held the business of hashish and utilize merchant for his business. Why the political people favour him and protect him from raids.
